Expressions of Interest The Genazzano Rowing program is one of the most prominent schoolgirls’ rowing programs in the country with a rich and proud 40-year history. The program caters for over 100 girls and is complemented by the College’s whole sport program, including the recently refurbished Physical Performance Centre, and a supportive parent community.The College is seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled, reliable, and motivated casual rowing staff for the 2023-24 season for the following roles:Junior Coxswain Coach at Genazzano Boatshed, Hawthorn*Intermediate Coxswain Coach at Genazzano Boatshed, Hawthorn*Junior & Intermediate squad coaches at Genazzano Boatshed, HawthornSenior Coxswain Coach at Footscray City Rowing Club, Footscray*Senior squad coaches at Footscray City Rowing Club, Footscray*Coxswain coaches may also coach a crewApplicants must be available: 17 July 2023 – 18 March 2024 inclusive and must attend all on-water coaching sessions, camps, and regattas. The College is seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled, reliable, and motivated casual rowing staff for the 2023-24 season for the following roles:

  • Junior Coxswain Coach at Genazzano Boatshed, Hawthorn*
  • Intermediate Coxswain Coach at Genazzano Boatshed, Hawthorn*
  • Junior & Intermediate squad coaches at Genazzano Boatshed, Hawthorn
  • Senior Coxswain Coach at Footscray City Rowing Club, Footscray*
  • Senior squad coaches at Footscray City Rowing Club, Footscray

*Coxswain coaches may also coach a crew

Applicants must be available: 17 July 2023 – 18 March 2024 inclusive and must attend all on-water coaching sessions, camps, and regattas. Land training hours are available as required by the Head of Rowing. The coaching schedule* for each squad is as follows:

Additional hours include:

  • Scheduled coaching development seminars (up to 4 per season – evenings at Genazzano)
  • various Saturday Regattas throughout Term 4 and Term 1
